During his master’s degree at the university of Verona, Gabriele performed his experimental thesis at the university of Food Technologies (Plovdiv) where he studied the growth kinetics, antimicrobial and antifungal activity of 2 fungi. In addition he performed bioinformatics and GC-MS studies. At CPSBB Gabriele will be a PhD student within the NatGenCrop project, devoted to the investigation of tomato and pepper’s genetic, molecular and physiological responses to pathogens.
