57 students from schools in Italy, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria visited CPSBB within the Erasmus+ Programme. The visit was initiated by the Plovdiv Secondary School “Konstantin Velichkov” within the “GoGreen” initiative.
The students were introduced to various CPSBB projects, including NatGenCrop. Dr. Nikolay Staykov held a presentation in the conference hall ot CPSBB and Dr. Alicja Wieteska guided the visitors through the greenhouse facilities. She demonstrated experiments with drought and salinity and explaining how further analysis of the performance of the plants can be linked to identification of genome locations responsible for the detected performance traits.
